Shenzhen Guanai International Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1919 as the Central Epidemic Prevention Station. After the founding of the People's Republic of China it came directly under the Ministry of Health, and today it is a large integrated biopharmaceutical enterprise with several second-tier subsidiaries and R&D and manufacturing bases, and more than ten thousand employees.

The company integrates R&D, manufacturing, sales and postgraduate training, focuses on vaccines, biological products and innovative medicines, and continually delivers safe, effective and accessible solutions for public health.
